If you're just looking for a list of subsidiaries, your easiest option might be to look in D&B Hoovers. Company profiles usually include a section on the 'Corporate Family', which will list subsidiaries, headquarters status, ownership type and location. Similarly, the Nexis Uni database has a section for 'Company Dossier's (click on 'Menu' to find this section of the database) where you can access company profiles. These profiles contain a 'Corporate Hierarchy' section which lists subsidiaries, location and number of employees. If you're looking for more detailed information, most of these companies are private and potentially international, but the Eikon database includes a 'Company Tree Structure' to the right of the company name in the company profiles. If you click into a particular subsidiary listed on the resulting page, you might get a revenue figure, incorporation date, industry and/or market cap as well as number of employees. You can also view the family tree via 'pedigree' view, which shows you each level of the tree.
