Relevant information can be found in a number of places:

  • The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics provides convenient access to earnings data from the Current Population Survey.
  • You could also access some of this data through the Libraries' Social Explorer database, which allows mapping of data, as well as access to tabular data.
  • If you need access to microdata, IPUMS includes the American Community Survey data, some of which touches on individuals' income and wages.
