Accounting and Auditing Enforcement Releases (AAERs) are issued when the SEC investigates an institution or individual for alleged misconduct. You can access individual AAERs on the SEC website. There is also a dataset consisting of details of these filings from 1982 - 2021 available for individual researcher purchase through researchers at the USC Marshall School of Business (for faculty and PhD researchers).
