Q. What resources do we have for broad country background information?

The OSU Libraries has a number of resources to help with gaining a greater understanding of contextual information if you are considering doing business in, working in, or otherwise engaging with a country outside the United States. The most useful Libraries databases are likely:

• CountryWatch
• EMIS Intelligence
• Factiva (you can filter news to a country or region to see up-to-date information, though mostly native language)
• International Strategic Analysis
• Passport

There are also a number of resources freely available online which could be useful, like the CIA World Factbook.
