The IBISWorld database is the Libraries' best bet for a U.S. industry report. These reports include sections on: Industry Performance, Industry Outlook, Products & Markets, Competitive Landscape, Major Companies, Operating Conditions and Key Statistics.
One of the other popular sources for industry reports is the First Research reports available in the Mergent Intellect database. (There is an icon to click on to access 'First Research' on the database homepage below the search box.) These are briefer reports, but include sections on: News and Social, Industry Forecast, Critical Issues, Business Challenges, Business Trends, Industry Opportunities, Financial Information, Call Prep Questions and Websites & Acronyms.
