Usually when people refer to a ‘990’ they’re talking about a form non-profits file with the IRS which gives us limited financial information (namely revenue, salaries, net assets and a few other financial and governing/activity data points). We can gain access to 990 filings through the Libraries' subscription to the Foundation Center Online database.
