When people use the term ‘annual report’ sometimes they mean the annual report issued by companies to their investors, and sometimes they’re referring to the SEC 10K filing, which is an annual filing the company makes with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission. The annual report issued by the company to investors can often be found on a company’s website in an ‘Investor Relations’ section of the site. SEC filings (including a company’s 10Ks) can be found via the EDGAR database. Both SEC filings and company annual reports can also be found in the Libraries D&B Hoovers database via the company profile page (you can search the database by company name).
