Q. Does a non-OSU entity need permission to use wording from the OSU General Records Retention Schedule?

As we are a public institution, we can’t “copyright” the schedule or the text so you are free to use it. What we would ask is that you attribute its inspiration to The Ohio State University. If you haven’t already you may want to also review our Records Management Policy.
