OSU faculty, staff, and students who need a book that the OSU Libraries do not own or that is checked out should:
1. Check the OhioLINK Catalog for an available copy at another OhioLINK member library and use the Request this Item button to have it sent to an OSU library location for pick-up free of charge.
2. Check the SearchOhio catalog for an available copy at one of 19 participating public libraries in the state and use the Request this Title link to have it sent to an OSU library location for pick-up free of charge.
3. Check the Columbus Metropolitan Library catalog for an available copy. Use your CML library card to reserve the title (CML cards can be obtained at the OSU Thompson Library) and have it sent to the OSU Thompson Library for pick-up free of charge.
4. Make an interlibrary loan request for your scholarly research needs through ILLiad.
Note that textbooks and personal interest/entertainment materials cannot be requested through interlibrary loan.
