Since the Libraries' subscription databases and online journals are only available via remote access to current faculty, staff, and students, you would need to find other sources to access scholarly articles.  Please see our guide, Alumni Online Library, for pointers to other resources that will help.

The University Libraries are open to the public, and all are welcome to use the Libraries' physical and online collections onsite.  You may request a computer "guest pass" at any location which will allow you access to our online resources through one of our computers.

Courtesy cards, which allow you to check out print and other physical materials, are available to Sustaining Members of the Ohio State Alumni Association and members of the Friends of the Libraries.  You may apply for a Courtesy Card at the Thompson Library Circulation Desk.
