The Libraries has a lot of databases that include industry reports:
IBISWorld Industry Reports (mostly US reports, a few global and a few specialized and/or state-level, great background information)
D&B Hoovers(industry information sections include access to various industry and market reports)
Mergent Intellect (from the homepage one can access First Research reports, which include basic SWOT information as well as recommended call questions for informational interviews)
There are many more. There is even a library Guide highlighting Industry Research resources.
